about us

we serve indian food made only with local, sustainable and non-gmo or organic ingredients, whilst keeping our prices reasonable.

we’re able to do this because:

  • we work with farmer and suppliers who believe in our ideas and ideals and want to work with us
  • we don’t pay massive rents on long leases, we work out of a shared kitchen in the lower-east-side with fellow chefs, cooks and bakers who are all working hard on their own amazing foods
  • we don't have a massive menu with a hundred items that we can’t sell, we make a limited number of dishes each day and when they're gone, they're gone - we start again the next day

the money this saves is used to:

  • buy the best ingredients (local & organic or non-gmo)
  • pay our cooks a decent wage
  • keep the prices on our food as affordable as possible, without compromising on the food we serve to you
  • support worthy community projects
